DriverTrust – From Interactive Prototype to Production

Unravel partnered with DriverTrust to design and build an interactive prototype for a platform that simplifies the verification of drivers and courier candidates. Together, we set out to validate the concept, refine user journeys, and create a clear blueprint for development. The joint goal was to design and prototype:

• A mobile application for drivers and courier candidates

• An admin panel for logistics companies

• A system verifying country-specific documents (e.g., ID, driver’s license)

• A step-by-step onboarding and account creation process

The clickable, highly interactive, and realistic prototypes brought the product vision to life, uncovered usability and flow issues, and enabled a seamless transition into full design and development.

Prototyping Process

We created comprehensive, high-fidelity prototypes covering both key components of the platform:

Mobile Application for Drivers

An interactive prototype guiding users through the verification process.
Drivers could upload required documents, monitor verification status, and experience the flow of the final app before development began.

Admin Panel for Logistics Companies

A prototype of the admin tool allowing organizations to create accounts, manage candidates, review submitted documents, and oversee the verification process.
It included a step-by-step workflow mirroring real administrative operations, allowing both teams to test and validate functionality early.

• Automated Document Verification – Checks essential documents based on local requirements to reduce manual work and compliance risks.

• Cross-Company Driver Evaluation – Provides a shared database of driver performance and history for transparent, data-driven hiring.

• Process Automation – Manages reminders, document handling, and verification automatically to improve efficiency.

• Security Measures – Verifies driver identities and prevents fraud through real-time data validation.

• User-Centered Interface – Clear, intuitive layouts ensure smooth navigation for both drivers and administrators.

The prototype’s visuals were crafted to mirror the final product’s design system and aesthetics, giving stakeholders a realistic, production-ready preview of the platform.

Results

The high-fidelity prototypes allowed the DriverTrust and Unravel teams to:

• Validate product concepts and user journeys early in the process

• Collect actionable feedback to refine UX and functionality
