We are looking for Senior Java Software Engineers who can work independently and contribute daily to the team, with strong experience in Java, with good understanding of application architecture and structure — not just coding skills.

Project scope

• Managing energy flows in households (smart energy systems).
• Involves device integration, backend services, and potentially machine learning for optimization.
• Emphasis on device communication protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP POST), data transformation, and energy optimization systems.

Requirements

• Java

• Understanding of IoT concepts, particularly how devices communicate.

Key skills

• Advanced knowledge of Java language and Spring Framework
• Experience with IoT

Nice to have

• Knowledge of OSGi (not mandatory; basic onboarding will be provided).
• Familiarity with cloud concepts (e.g., Kafka usage, entity transfer, cloud protocols), but not cloud-provider specific (AWS, GCP, etc.).
• Basic awareness of electrical engineering or energy systems (helpful due to the domain).
• Interest or basic knowledge of AI/ML may be beneficial in the long term, but is not a requirement.
